Your physiotherapy pathway

Less guessing.
More measurable progress.

Hands-on treatment can help, but it is not the whole plan. The goal is to improve the movement, strength and capacity you need—and make each step forward measurable.

  1. 01

    Assess

Understand the problem, how it affects you and what you need to return to.

  2. 02

    Rebuild

Develop mobility, strength, power and capacity with progressive loading.

  3. 03

    Return

Reintroduce work, training or sport and use objective markers to guide readiness.

Meet Damien Tse

Clear advice. Practical rehabilitation.

I’m a physiotherapist with a Doctor of Physiotherapy and a background in exercise science and nutrition. I work with active people, everyday injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and sporting conditions.

As a combat athlete, I also understand the frustration of being told to simply stop training. That experience informs my approach, but your care is always built around your goals, clinical findings and the best available evidence.

Special interest Doctor of Combat

Physiotherapy and return-to-sport rehabilitation for MMA, BJJ, Muay Thai and other combat athletes.

  • Doctor of Physiotherapy
  • Bachelor of Health Science — Exercise Science & Nutrition

  • Stanford NCAA Division I athletic training experience

Common questions.

Do I need a referral?+

No. You can book directly unless your funding pathway—such as WorkCover, DVA or Medicare CDMP—requires one.

Do you only treat athletes?+

No. DOC Physiotherapy welcomes private patients of different ages and activity levels. Combat and strength sports are areas of interest, not requirements for booking.

Can I claim private health insurance?+

Receipts are provided for eligible private health rebates. Check your level of cover with your insurer.

What should I bring?+

Comfortable clothing you can move in, relevant scans or reports, and a clear idea of what you want to get back to.
